My Personal Journey With Cats

Cat has been a close companion for most of my life, as I grew up with "cat siblings"! (I'm an only - human - child).

They are wise, elegant, unpredictable, comfortable, overall fascinating beings...

Who seem to expertly balance goofy with regal, powerful with crazy parkour moves off the wall or ceiling, highly intelligent and independent with "little baby". 

We humans will probably never cease to be amazed by cats and their contradictory, fascinating (and fluffy), selves.

So how do you know if cat spirit animal is working to reach you?

 Keep in mind, as cat is so close to humans, it can happen in slightly different ways than with the wild spirit animals. 

• If you are not a cat parent, and you keep encountering cats
• If a cat comes to your house "randomly", f ex showing up in your garden
• If you see cat as a symbol
• If you dream about cats when you don't otherwise spend time with them
• If you hear an unusual amount of talk about cats via other people
• And more. 

🐾 Cats Through the Ages: Sacred, Mysterious & Magical

Cats have a long and fascinating history with humans. Unlike dogs, who were domesticated early to work with people, cats seemed to choose humans — on their own terms.

In ancient Egypt, cats were considered sacred. They were protected by law, mummified with ceremony, and linked to the powerful goddess Bastet, the guardian of the home, fertility, and feminine mysteries.

Astral Guardians

Many believed that cats could ward off evil, sense invisible energies, and guide the soul through different realms of reality.

Their purring — now known to have actual healing frequencies that can heal bones (between 25–150 Hz) — is believed to be physically and emotionally restorative. 

Even today, many sensitive souls feel that cats "know" when something is energetically off… and often show up in times of transition or awakening.

When cat shows up on your path, it can be a reminder to step out of the human "clock obsession" where we have wrongly equated time and effort with value.

It's OK to rest. Sometimes it's what helps you unlock the next step - and continuing to stress and try to force it, will only block it further.

Cats are affectionate, but always self-honoring. They groom and love themselves.They bask in the sun and enjoy the present moment. They don’t feel guilty for being who they are.
